Do you remember Tobi saying that Nagato was supposed to use his Rinne Tensi for him? Maybe it was not just pretending to be Madara, but he actually wanted Nagato to resurrect Rin, once he completes the moon eye plan.
Here is the fragment. Tobi could have very well been telling the truth right here. There was no reason for him to pretend to be madara in front of Tobi, right? Obito wanted Nagato to use Rinne tensei for him...what else could it have been if not revivig Rin? (of course there is still the possibility he was pretending to be madara just to deceive us readers)
